You can register your SonicWall appliances on the My Products page.
After you register your appliances on the MySonicWall.com site, you must update your SonicWall SonicWall appliance with the registration information. For more information on how to do that, see After You Register.


Before you register your SonicWall product, you need its serial number and authentication code. Both can be found in these locations:
- The label on the bottom of your SonicWall appliance.
- The Status page of your SonicWall management interface.
- The bottom of the product packaging.

Registration of your product can be done on the My Products page:
- In the Add New Product section, type the serial number of your SonicWall product in the Serial Number field.
- If your product has an authentication code, type this into the Authentication Code field.
- Type a Friendly Name, such as San Francisco Office, to identify the product. Using a Friendly Name can help you to manage multiple SonicWall appliances. If you don’t enter a Friendly Name, the SonicWall product name is used.
- Click Register to submit the above information
- A Product Survey page is displayed; complete the optional Survey, and then click Continue
- The New Product Details page is displayed. Your SonicWall product is now registered at the MySonicWall site.
After you register a SonicWall product, you can view the product registration summary in the Registered Products section of the My Products page.

You can also register a SonicWall product by using the Quick Register section found on the left side of the MySonicWall pages:
- Type the serial number in the Quick Register field then click the
button.
- The My Products page is shown with the serial number entered above already populated into the appropriate field in the Add New Product section.
- If your SonicWall registration requires an authentication code, enter the code in the Authentication Code field.
- Type a Friendly Name for the appliance, then click Register.

If you registered your SonicWall product at the MySonicWall.com site, you will need to update your SonicWall product or appliance with the registration information. This can be done by logging into MySonicWall.com from the SonicWall's Management Interface:
- Click the "Register" link; the MySonicWall.com Login page is displayed. The "Register" link can be found in:
- Firmware 6.5.0.0 or later: If your SonicWall product is not registered, the following message appears on the General>Status page: "This SonicWall is not yet registered. Click to automatically Register the firewall".
- SonicOS: If your SonicWall product is not registered, the following message appears in the Security Services folder in the Status page: "Your SonicWall is not registered. Click here to Register your SonicWall".
- Type your MySonicWall.com account username and password in the User Name and Password fields and click Submit.
- Your SonicWall appliance will now be automatically updated with the registration information from the MySonicWall MySonicWall.com account.
